Adagio Dazzle

Leader of the Dazzlings in all her anthropomorphic fishy goodness.

Ok so you're probably wondering what's with the big hole in her chest and the shark fin thing. Well, in my fanfic series, the Sirens are more shark themed, so they have the dorsal fins, sharp teeth, and each siren has a unique tail fin. Adagio for example has the tail fin of a Great White. Now to the hole in her chest. Again it revolves around a change/plot point I have for the Dazzlings' backstory. 2 years before Adagio, Aria, and Sonata were banished, they and their sister Siciliana Serenade (my Siren OC) were searching for food and they came across an old treasure chest. Curious, they checked it out and found 4 ruby pendants. In the beginning they didn't look like anything other than nice gems. So they took them and went home. Slowly the dark magic within them starts to affect them. Making them more cynical, and aggressive. Siciliana realizes this and tells the others that they should get rid of them before something bad happens. Her concerns fell on deaf ears however. While the pendants were making them more aggressive, it also effected their natural singing ability. They found that they could gain power from using the magic in the pendants while singing. They slowly started to get addicted to it and relied on them more and more. So they eventually abandoned Siciliana and went on their rampage across Equestria and they were banished. Thing is, Siciliana tried to run after them before they did something, unfortunately she was too late. She saw her sisters being sucked into a portal, and she had no confirmation on whether her sisters were dead or not. So Siciliana fell into a deep depression and isolated herself in their old cave they lived in. Having lost her 3 sisters right in front of her eyes. So when they and Sunset come back to Equestria later on in my fanfic series, they have indented scars where they were on their chests. A dark reminder of their past.

The sirens in my series naturally have the ability to sing beautifully, but they can't control people like they did in the movie. They also have the ability to shift their tails into finned legs, this is for when they need extra mobility where their tails can't cut it....it also makes mating easier. The male Sirens are a lot more animalistic in design, having more shark like heads and males tend to isolate themselves and hunt alone. Females can do the same but staying in family groups, like the 4 sisters' group, isn't out of the norm.
